5K Registration Fee: $25 - please register as a competitve runner, jogger or walker
½ Mile Kids Dash (ages 8-12): $10
5K will begin promptly at 8:00 am
½ Kids Dash will begin promptly at 9:15 am
Staggered Start Grouping:
- Competitive runners
- Joggers
- Walkers
All participants must pre-register. There will be NO REGISTRATION THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
Please note that this will be non-competitive yet challenging cross-country trail run, which will be manually timed.
Miles for Milo is a 5K Walk/Run in memory of Sergeant Emiliano “Milo” Perez, an Iraq War Veteran and Federal Reserve Officer who died tragically in 2010, leaving behind his young family. Pillars’ Buddy’s Place was there to help his family. This unique bereavement program offers support groups for children ages 4 to 18 and their families who have experienced the death of a parent or significant caregiver. All proceeds from Miles for Milo will benefit Pillars’ Buddy’s Place.
