About the EventThe Almost Home Foundation (www.AlmostHomeFoundation.org) is the largest non-profit, 501c3 state-registered animal rescue of the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are hosting a run/walk fundraising event to raise money for our animal rescue organization and to raise awareness about the constant life-threatening issues that animals face.The money raised will go towards paying for food and medical bills of our current animals as well as raising money to take more animals out of kill shelters and place them in appropriate forever homes. We, Almost Home Foundation, have an exciting way that you can be a part of our efforts!As a vendor, you will enjoy wonderful community exposure and sales opportunities for your products and services, as well as the good feeling of knowing that you’re helping to rescue and care for animals just by participating as a vendor in this event.The Almost Home Foundation would like you to be a part of this exciting day. We are anticipating 500 people to attend this event. Please contact us anytime if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you and your business there! Sunday, September 19, 2010 5:15am-7:30am (outdoor event)Suggestion: bring a cart to transfer your belongings from your car to your vendor booth space.First come, first pick of space available, so come early. You must be finished with set-up by 7:30am. Customers will show up as early as 7:30am.
Business Operations:
Your business may take place only in your allotted booth space and the walkway immediately in front of your space. Feel free handout information to people passing by your booth.Parking:Your parking space will be waived of any and all fees.Restrooms:Portable restroom facilities available for your use.Electrical Hook-up:Please provide your own power source and electrical extension cords.Vendor Break-down Details:Customers and race participants should be leaving the facility around 12:15pm. You may break-down your space after 12:15pm. Please try to be finished with break-down by 2:15pm with no trash left in your space.Advertising:The Almost Home Foundation will be advertising this event, but we encourage you to let your entire guest/client/customer base know about this exciting event. Word of mouth travels fast! Every participant will help you with your business and us with our fundraiser.
