Our two organizations - both committed to serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness and at risk of becoming homeless with compassion - bring you an evening of cocktails, dining, auctions, and performances. Simply the Basics: The Nation's first full-scale hygiene bank, Simply the Basics provides basic human needs to people and communities with dignity so that they can turn their focus to greater goals. With more than 50 partner organizations, 40 in the Bay Area, Simply the Basics has improved the physical health of the community, saved nonprofit partners time and resources, and created a community of wellness & compassion.
Project Homeless Connect: Collaborating with city agencies, businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers, PHC provides comprehensive holistic services, both at large-scale service events and through continued drop in care, for anyone that is experiencing homelessness, transitioning out of homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. The organization has two goals - to create a more compassionate city and to provide connections and resources that work toward an end to homelessness.
The evening will include:
