On the evening of Friday, October 19 from 6:30-10:00PM in The Great Hall of Union Station, Y-ME Illinois will honor all those that have been touched by breast cancer and Y-ME Illinois supporters –old and new- while raising money to allow us to continue our work in the community supporting women with breast cancer and educating others so that they live strong healthy lives.

Guests will be treated to indulgences provided by Ethel’s Chocolate, Geja’s Café, Martini Park, Garrett Popcorn, Touch Salons, Argo Tea, Aveda Institute Chicago, Kim & Scott's Gourment Pretzels and Starbucks Liqueur.
A Mini Cooper will be raffled off at the event, courtesy of Touch Salons. Raffle Tickets are available here (just click register and you will be able to purchase raffle tickets) and at the event for $75. Only 700 tickets will be sold. In addition to this exciting raffle we will be having a unique silent auction featuring an evening as a guest chef at Charlie Trotters and many more exclusive items.
We are happy to have Governor Rod R. Blagojevich and Mayor Richard M. Daley as Honorary Chairmen of the event.
Live entertainment will be provided by from Tim Green Jazz Quartet and Shemekia Copeland, a local blues phenomenon. Check out Shemekia at www.shemekiacopeland.com.

The mission of Y-ME Illinois is to ensure through information, empowerment and peer support that no one faces breast cancer alone.
