In a world in which overcoming everyday obstacles can require heroic effort,
the children and young adults of Keshet inspire us to all do better.
Seeing a child read for the first time at the age of 10 - or make their first friend in junior high -
forces us to understand that mastering seemingly simple tasks are actually small miracles of will and effort.
Helping these extraordinary individuals prevail beyond these obstacles is Keshet’s mission.
This labor is a heartfelt team effort that reaches beyond community boundaries.
In one vital supporting role are staff members who teach, guide, and encourage.
In another are the donors from all backgrounds and communities
who show their passion through the gift of time and resources.
On March 21st, we will honor the children and young adults of Keshet - for their accomplishments,
which are formidable, and for their efforts in reaching beyond their challenges - and into our hearts.
