NOAH runs on dues and donations by members. Sure we can continue to offer basic programs but with your help we can raise money to do even more!
- The 2008 National Conference in Las Vegas - It’s magic when a person with albinism connects with the albinism community for the first time. It’s like coming home when the NOAH family gathers!
- New parent support programs - Because albinism is so rare, inaccurate information is often given to new parents. NOAH provides information and support for new parents.
- Advocacy projects - Destroying the myths and putting a face on the condition of albinism.
- Outreach - Connecting with the albinism community to relieve the feelings of isolation.
- The Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome Network - Provides information for people with the condition as well as medical professionals who treat the condition.
- Positive Exposure - Showing the world the beauty of albinism through photography.
Help NOAH raise funds across the United States and Canada. Join in a local bowl-a-thon, and if there’s not one in your area, volunteer to be a team leader.
And if bowling isn’t your thing, be creative. Have a Thing-A-Thon!
What’s A Thing-A-Thon?
Have a dance-a-thon or a skate-a-thon or a trivia night! Anything you can think of to have fun and help raise money for NOAH at the same time. Click here for more information or ideas for setting up your own Thing-A-Thon.
To be a bowler or a team leader, or if you’d like ideas about other fun ways to raise money, please click here for more information, or you can contact NOAH at bowlathonhelp@albinism.org to request a 2008 Team Leader Packet.
