Family Day: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 7

On the River is back and better than ever! Now in its 3rd year, On the River 2010 highlights include:
- A 2-day event with a new teen night, family day and a sizzling beach party
- Expanded 6-on-6 volleyball tournament
- Bigger and better cornhole tournament
- Teen Night Battle of the Bands, hosted by U93's Rob and AJ
- Live music and entertainment
- A spectacular fireworks display
- Island-themed food and drinks
- 1,500 tons of sand and the sound of the rolling St. Joseph River
Practically the entire party site will be comprised of sand and decorated accordingly, giving the event that authentic beach feel – so don’t forget your sandals & Hawaiian shirts!
On the River is more than just a summer bash; it is a tool to support the mission of the Center for the Homeless to break the cycle of homelessness. Please consider joining our efforts to continue to change the landscape of South Bend.
