Join Chicago Blood Cancer Foundation’s “Out For Blood” Team for the North Shore Century Bike Ride on Sunday, September 12, 2010. Every dollars raised by riders will support lymphoma, leukemia, and myeloma research here in Chicago. This is a non-competitive, family friendly ride where riders can choose from a variety of scenic routes from 25 to 100 miles. Chicago Blood Cancer Foundation is underwriting the registration fee for the first 50 riders committed to raising money for blood cancer research who register on-line at http://outforblood.kintera.org/. Non-riders can form “Virtual Vampire” teams on line. Those raising $100 receive a t-shirt and those raising $350 or more receive the coveted “Out For Blood” Jersey.
This is a non-competitive ride where riders can choose from a variety of routes: 25-mile; 50-mile; 62-mile; 75-mile, and 100-mile. The North Shore Century has earned a reputation of being a quality and well-organized event over the past 25 years. Chicago Blood Cancer Foundation will have an on-site greeting area for “Out For Blood” Team members and host a post-ride celebration for riders and non-riders. Free refreshments will be available at the registration area.
