The Sub-5 Century Challenge ride is an annual road cycling event held to raise money and awareness for Parkinson's disease. The 2011 event includes two distinct levels of participation.
-
A timed century (100 miles) distance designed for endurance athletes that challenges them to complete a full century distance inside 5 hours, while riding in a group of no more than 25 riders.
-
A recreational ride of 25, 50 or 75 miles.
Registration for the timed century ride is open to both teams and individuals. Team entries from both clubs and cycling retailers are encouraged. Individual registations are assigned a ride group based on their time goal and cycling experience.
Visitors wishing to make a donation on behalf of a rider can do so via their "Personal Fund-Raising Page." To find the page for a specific rider one can either browse through the list to the right of this window, or click on the "Sponsor a Rider" button and search for the rider by name.
