Events.org is the premiere search engine/calendar for
non-profit events (Charities, Communities, Cities, Universities, Arts, Theater, Schools and other organizations) all over the nation, and provides an exclusive list of events
in your area. Events.org was started by philanthropic organization wanting to give back to the community and wanted to make it easier to promote and find great events.
They launched
Events.org with two main goals in mind: To facilitate the non-profit
sector’s growth into e-philanthropy, and to connect the 50 million socially
engaged Internet users with a way to support their local community.
At Events.org,
organizations post their events online to promote their event for free. Guests
can then search the online calendar for localevents by organization, date, or
interests, and even purchase tickets and make donations online. For
guests and non-profits alike, Events.org is a way to
have fun, and make a difference too!
