Rico is known on the North side of Fort Wayne as everyone’s barber.  Rico’s Barber Shop is a family barbershop.  He has 3 children, and one son is a barber with him.  His wife is also active in the shop and takes care of the business aspects.  His love of music is obvious as he always listens to music as he cuts his clients’ hair.  He loves any kind of music, and he can’t sit still if he hears music with rhythm or a good beat.

He is a lifelong resident of Ft. Wayne and attended North Side High School as a proud Redskin.  He is a state champion wrestler and was one of the first in the North Side Hall of Fame for his football and wrestling careers.

Rico is a cancer survivor.  When he finished all his treatments at 27 years of age, a friend said it was time to take up boxing.  He was challenged to fight in a Tough Man contest, and this evolved into his passion of boxing.  He values working with young children, and he enjoys teaching boxing to them.

Rico has so many interests and so many friends, and we are lucky that he shares his love of dancing with us.
