Iwona Podzielinski was born in Fort Wayne’s sister city, Plock, Poland. Her initial visit to Fort Wayne was as a member of the folkloric dance group, Wisla, as a part of a cultural exchange program.  Following her heart, she moved to Fort Wayne in 1996 and married John the next year.  While attending IPFW Iwona helped run the family’s restaurant, Dash-In, until medical school required her to redirect her energies. She completed her medical education at Indiana University School of Medicine followed by a Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Podzielinski enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, gardening, and family gatherings.  Working at Parkview, she is committed to providing compassionate, specialized care to every patient, every day.
