** Shirt sales have now ended **
This winter has been one for the record books and something we won’t soon forget. While the winter weather has been a challenge for everyone, it has had by far the biggest impact on the homeless in our communities. The never ending frigid cold has been called many things but one word best described it: CHIBERIA. In January in an effort to convey to the public the seriousness of the extreme cold, Ricky Castro, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service, tweeted the now famous word CHIBERIA. We have created a CHIBERIA commemorative t-shirt to help raise money for the homeless and to help you remember how much fun you had this winter.
This limited edition CHIBERIA commemorative t-shirt was created with the support of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless to help support their efforts to prevent and end homelessness. The t-shirt is available for purchase now through April 30, 2014 for $25.00 each (includes shipping & taxes). All profits from the sale and additional donations will go to the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless.
The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization
