Hello Golfers & Women Tennis Players!
Registration is now open for the 17th Annual Celebrity Golf & 12th Annual Women's Tennis Tournament set to take place on Monday, JUNE 20, 2016 at Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove, IL. We continue our commitment with Keshet (which serves children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities) as a beneficiary of the event. We are especially proud to announce a relationship with Special Olympics Illinois as a beneficiary. Each year, Special Olympics provides opportunities for over 22,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Illinois to compete in 19 different sports at no cost to them or their families.
This event has yet to disappoint the participants and sponsors and gives you the opportunity to play alongside current & former Chicago sports celebrities and media personalities participating in the fun-filled event.
More than 56 million or about one in every five Americans have some type of disability, according to the Census Bureau. Autism, for example, affects one in 50 children. In order to accomplish the task of finding resources that enable Special Kids Network to execute its mission, the charity and its executive board created the Celebrity Golf Outing and Women’s Tennis Tournament. This tournament has been the backbone to our fundraising and with the additions of our casino night and Chicago Bears players bowling tournament the charity has now exceeded $4 million raised since 1999.
Women tennis players will have the opportunity to compete in two round-robin tennis sessions throughout the day. Lunch, goody bags, raffles and fun are all included. With Special Guest & Honorary Chairperson Kathy Hart, 101.9FM The Mix.
Registration is limited and on a first-come, first serve basis.
Please contact us for more information on registration, sponsorship opportunities or volunteering for this event.
