A Historic Evening Inspired by 126 Years of Community Service

"A Taste of TEL HI" is a non-profit charity event that attracts the City’s most influential and community-minded people, leaders in business and government, and of course, food and wine lovers.

As far back as 1908, TEL HI partnered with San Francisco’s most prestigious hotels to host its fundraising events. This year, we restored that historic partnership to host our annual gala at The Ritz-Carlton. I am also proud to announce that Jack F. Bair, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the San Francisco Giants, is this year’s Community Chair.


This year’s event features an epicurean journey led by The Ritz-Carlton’s own, Executive Chef Luis Lujan; the finest wines from Napa and Sonoma; plus unbeatable live and silent auctions.All proceeds from the event go to supporting the services and programs that serve the TEL HI community. Our History and Mission
Elizabeth Ashe and Alice Griffith founded TEL HI in 1890 to improve the social and living conditions of their community. More than a century later those needs are even more important than ever. Today, TEL HI serves approximately 700 people each day, providing a wide range of services to toddlers, children, teens, families and seniors. Your support helps us continue to enhance the lives of our community.
