Galway Downs International Horse Trials & Fall Festival

High flying equestrian competition, live music & Galway Spirits, Sat. Nov. 2.

            You might feel the earth move as 1,200 pounds of glistening horse flesh thunder past. You might feel unnerved by the rider’s determined glare as he or she guides that glorious steed across two-plus miles filled with 30 permanent obstacles. You might feel fear when they fly over small wooden houses, big wooden tables, ditches, banks and miniature lakes at the Galway Downs Equestrian Center.

            You’ll feel a lot of things at the Galway Downs International Horse Trials & Fall Festival Saturday, Nov. 2. But not boredom. Nor thirst with Galway Spirits as the event’s bartender. 

Tented on-course oasis spots feature live music, local craft beers or trademark tournament cocktails from Galway Spirits Distillery. 

            Saturday Nov 2 anchors four days of equestrian competition Oct. 31-Nov. 3. Finest food truck fare and shopping opportunities abound all weekend. 

            Ringside and on-course oasis VIP tent admission is available with Patrons Passes. Daily general admission is free with $10 parking that includes the event program. The Galway Downs Equestrian Center is located at 38801 Los Corralitos Road in Temecula.
