CPL Laureano was born and raised in Chicago,IL where he completed HS and some college. He entered into the United States Marine Corps in January 1996 where he has seen over 26 different countries, while attached to the 11th and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit Special Operations Capable, completing his tour with an Honorable discharge in February 2000. CPL Laureano is married to his wife Milagros Laureano for over 20 years, and both share three beautiful daughters Idalis 20, Niah 15, and Holland 5 years old. CPL Laureano joined the US Army in August of 2001, completed two combat tours in support of Operation Iragi Freedom where he was awarded the Bronze star medal with Valor, for heroic actions while facing the enemy, and a second Bronze star for service to country and duty, after 10 years was Honorably discharged, CPL Laureano joined the Richland County Sheriffs Dept on October 3rd 2011 where he attended South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. CPL Laureano has served in Regions 2, and 3. was apart of the Community Action Team and currently is assigned as a road supervisor in the Region 8 area. CPL Laureano is currently completing his degree in Business Administration with a concentration of Business Management and currently on the Deans List.
