Due to the recent spread of COVID-19 and our commitment to supporting the health and safety of our community, it is with great consideration and care that we have decided to cancel Laughs for Life, scheduled for April 22, 2020.

Right now, during this time of heightened concern, we are focusing our efforts on keeping our programs and hotlines fully operational. We are proud to report that no breaks in service have occurred and we will continue to be there for those who are in crisis.

Laughs for Life is our big event of year—the one time where all of our team, partners, and supporters come together to celebrate our shared vision to reduce the stigma around suicide and celebrate our collective efforts to support others who are struggling. Since we have already incurred costs for the event and we funds that would have been raised for Laughs for Life, we truly need your donations. 

If you have already made a gift or pledged a gift, we hope that you will allow SFSP to keep those tax-deductible donations. This support enables us to build our infrastructure with text and chat programming to reach more young people. Finding new ways to reach people in crisis during this time of added isolation related to COVID-19 is crucial.
