Kos Lugakingira’s passion for dentistry started as a young pediatric dental assistant in the operating room.  She currently works in marketing, public relations, and promotions at Fort Wayne Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Center.  Past president of the local Alliance of the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society and the State Alliance of the Indiana Dental Association, Kos also owns Kos Marketing Inc, a company dedicated to promotion and marketing in Fort Wayne.  She won the first Culinary Queen in 2018 and was crowned the High Queen for top fundraising for Easter Seals. As a philanthropist, Kos and her husband Mulokozi started a non-profit, Kagera Advancement Inc.,  which helps advance education and healthcare locally and in Tanzania.  Mother of three, Sean, Eric, and Mya, Kos enjoys music, design, traveling, family vacations, cooking, gardening, and event planning.
