Dr. Ashley Gabrek Knapke was born and raised in Fort Wayne. She attended Bishop Luers High School then went on to Ball State University to major in chemistry. Her interest and passion for dentistry was deepened while watching her father and grandfather devote their careers to the dental profession. This led her to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA where she received her DMD. Upon finishing her dental degree, Ashley made the easy decision to return to Fort Wayne in May of 2020. She then began her career as a General Dentist with Summit Dental Group. In her first years of practice, she trained to become certificated in Facial Esthetics and enjoys enhancing one’s natural beauty. She currently serves as a board member of the local Isaac Knapp District Dental Society. Over the years Ashley’s love for animals has led her to volunteer for Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control as a Foster Mom to kittens. In her free time you will find her at the barn nurturing her love for all things Equestrian. Ashley is married to her high school sweetheart, James and they are expecting their first child in January 2024. She is very excited to show off her former show choir moves and is honored to have the opportunity to support the Carriage House.
