Joshua Newman was a much loved sixth grader at Fox Mill Elementary who sadly passed away November 20, 2010, from SUDEP, (Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy).

The Third Annual Joshua Newman Memorial 5K Walk/Run will be held to celebrate the short but exuberant and gregarious life of our dear friend, Josh. This neighborhood walk and run will focus on family, community and a celebration of Joshua’s life.

Josh is remembered for being a wonderful and kind neighbor, friend, and classmate. This event is to raise awareness of Epilepsy and SUDEP as well as to remember, honor and celebrate Josh who“Never Knew a Stranger”.

To keep with the spirit of being inclusive for the entire family, this race is non-competitive and fun, fun, fun!

T shirt pickup will be held on Friday, November 28th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Pinecrest Pool Parking Lot.

Please register before November 7th to guarantee your shirt size.
