Upon receiving your RSVP via this system, your attendance is expected. Barring extreme circumstances, a 'no-show' or cancellation within 24 business hours will place you on lock-out status from USO of Illinois event ticket reservations: 1st time = 90 days & 2nd time = 180 days

These restrictions are in place to help ensure those who wish to take advantage of complimentary ticket offers have that opportunity. Thank you for your understanding!

CANCELLATION INSTRUCTIONS

If you need to cancel any portion of your reservation, send an e-mail to

usoevents@usoofillinois.org

 with the guest name(s) and event you are cancelling. E-mails must be sent no later than 24 business hours before ticket pick up begins. Any e-mails received less than 24 business hours’ notice will result in your name being added to the disqualification list for the listed length of time.

TICKETS CANCELLED ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT ARE CONSIDERED WASTED TICKETS.

Cancellation by text or phone call will not be accepted.

Kohl Children's Museum offers 17 interactive, hands-on exhibits geared towards children ages birth to 8. All museum exhibits are fully accessible and are research-based to be challenging, educational and engaging to young children. All exhibits and programs are aligned to the Illinois State Learning Standards and are designed to nurture a love of learning in young children.
Pizza will be served.
All children will receive a gift for attending!

Event is for military youth ages 0-3(USO Diaper Division) & 3-10(USO Discovery Kids) along with a parent(s)

+Children over the age of 10 do not qualify for this event, as the museum is intended for a younger audience. Youth ages 11-18 are eligible for our Teen/Tween program.

Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

This event is not for military without children.

Registration is Required to Attend this Event.

Share the wonder of dance with your entire family as American Ballet Theatre presents ABTKids, a special, one-hour performance designed to introduce young audiences to the magic and beauty of dance. The performance, recommended for children ages 4-12, is narrated by a member of ABT’s Artistic Staff and features child-friendly highlights from the Company’s vast repertoire.

Audio description services will be available for audience members with low or no vision. This performance includes American Sign Language interpretation.

“you & me,” Mummenschanz’s brand new creation, will bring to life the large scale masks you’ve grown to love, as well as reviving a historic tradition of acrobatics.  The family friendly show will also include some of the classic sketches that have stood the test of time.  “you & me” will focus on the love and mutual joy the audiences and performers experience in Mummenschanz’s one of a kind theatrical performances.

Complimentary mini skate lessons will be available. Separate registration for these sessions will be available at the event upon check-in.

Ice skates will be provided, or bring your own.

This event is for military families with children between the ages of 3-18 (USO Discovery Kids & USO Teen/Tween).

Children under the age of 3 are only eligible for this event if they have an attending sibling between the ages of 3-18.

Please register for all who will be attending, even family members who will not be skating. An adult must accompany child/children.

This event is not for Military without children.

Code Play Learn focuses on creating a methodology of thought and process as

participants learn through hands-on and project based learning experiences. These sessions of STEM exploration are a fun, dynamic way to teach kids how to think creatively, reason systematically and play collaboratively. And most of all, have fun! Each child will build an age appropriate electronic gadget, to bring home, and work on an engineering project!

Please register your child for the correct session - projects will be age appropriate.

+Children under the age of 3 do not qualify for this event, as they are eligible for USO Diaper Division.

+Children over the age of 10 do not qualify for this event, as they are eligible for USO Teen/Tween.

Children in SESSION 1 (ages 3, 4, 5) must be accompanied by ONE parent/guardian.

Youth in SESSION 2 & SESSION 3 must be dropped off by a parent with a valid military or dependent ID (there are coffee shops and plenty of shopping in the Oak Park area).

Youth can only attend one session.

Registration for this event is very limited.

Check-In for each session begins 15 minutes prior to the session start time. Do Not Be Late! Session 2 & Session 3 parents must pick up their children by the session end time.

Snacks will be provided.

Free participation for this event is available to Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve Military children ONLY.

The story tells of a chance meeting on the streets of New York City between a poor newspaper boy and the great American composer, George Gershwin. The orchestra magically weaves Gershwin’s greatest hits into the drama as the master composer shares historical anecdotes about his life and musical passion. A bonding friendship develops as they explore the vast melting pot of American music and discover the key to unlocking the boy’s own musical potential.

Presenting history, drama, music and fun, this engaging concert is an ideal way to introduce children to the power of orchestral and classical music. The performance is approximately 50 minutes in length and is recommended for audiences age five and up.
