Upon receiving your RSVP via this system, your attendance is expected. Barring extreme circumstances, a 'no-show' at an event will place you on lock-out status from USO of Illinois event ticket reservations: 1st time = 90 days; 2nd time = 180 days. This restriction is in place to help insure that those who wish to take advantage of ticket offers have the opportunity to do so.Thank you for your understanding!

If you need to cancel your reservation you must do it by sending an e-mail to usoevents@usoofillinois.org with your name and event you are cancelling. E-mails must be sent before the start of the event. Any e-mails received after the start of the event will result in your name being added to the disqualification list for the list length of time.

This Game is open to all Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve and Retired Military personnel and their Dependents. 

You are not required to have children to attend this game.


The USO of Illinois Celebrates April the "Month of the Military Child"  

by announcing....



The USO's "Me and a Friend" program recognizes the sacrifices made by children of military service members with FREE TICKETS for each military child and one child friend. Must include each child friend's name during registration.
(must have adult chaperone with a current military or dependent ID card)
Dependent Children 18 and over will not be eligible to bring a guest. 

Tickets will be available for pick-up from a USO Representative at 1111 W. Addison Street (inside of the Taco Bell). At point of pick-up, ALL individuals registered for tickets must be present.  Dependent Children over the age of 18 will be required to present a current dependent ID card to receive
tickets.


Tickets will be available from 5:30pm - 7:05pm. If you are going to be late, you must call Bob at (847) 224-5607 to hold your tickets. Any tickets not picked up by 7:05pm will be given out to anyone walking up with a Military ID card or Dependent ID Card.


A Current Military ID Card will be REQUIRED to pick up tickets.
NO I.D. = NO TICKETS


 DOD and Civilian employees are not eligible to register for this USO Event.

Please note: Limitations are in place to ensure the greatest number of military and dependents can enjoy USO of Illinois programs.

  • Up to 4 tickets per married military household, any request greater than 4 will be based on a case by case basis. Please contact Bob at 847-224-5607 if you are requesting more than 4 tickets before ordering ticket.  
  • Married members are not eligible to bring civilian guest.
  • Married Military with no children is allowed only 2 tickets.
  • Single military parents are allowed to include a registration for one guest along with dependents up to total of 4 tickets.
  • Single military will be allowed 2 tickets one for self and one for a guest.
  • Dependent Children over the age of 18 must present a current Military Dependent ID to be eligible for tickets.Children over 18 will not be eligible to bring a guest.
  • Each dependent child will be allowed to bring 1 child friend to the game. (no friends over 18)
  • Parking and transportation to and from this event will be at your own expense.

Spring is here, and New Tradition's Spring Show is just around the corner!  You'll hear the tunes that have animated the chapters of our lives...straight from the pages of The American Songbook: Then and Now!   

 

This show has a lot of variety in it - Broadway songs like “June is Bustin Out All Over”, “You'll Never Walk Alone”, “Give My Regards to Broadway” and “Impossible Dream”.  American favorites like “Shenendoah”, “I'll Take you Home Again Kathleen” and “Yankee Doodle Dandy”.  Also, college songs like “Sweetheart of Sigma Chi “ and Halls of Ivy”, and songs from the 60s like “Happy Together”, “Lady Madona” and a version of the “William Tell Overture”  that you just have to be there to hear.

THIS EVENT IS LOCATED IN THE QUAD CITIES - APPROXIMATELY 3 HOURS FROM CHICAGO



The USO of Illinois Discovery Kids Program invites military children to a special evening of crafts, learning, pizza, and FUN with Sesame Street's Elmo!




Friday, May 9, 2014 from 5:00pm-6:30pm

WQPT PBS will lead children's activities related to Sesame Street's Elmo, including a take-home craft! 

All children will receive goodie bags containing a plush animal, a Sesame Street book, and two DVDs. Both DVDs (Talk, Listen, Co
nnect and Little Children, Big Challenges) assist military children with the affects of deployments, multiple deployments, combat-related injuries, and, unfortunately, the loss of a loved one.

Sesame Street's Elmo will be in attendance for the children to meet and take photos with!

FREE Pizza is also included in the evening's activities!

Everyone attending this Discovery Kids Event will also receive tickets to the Quad City River Bandits baseball game which starts at 7:00pm.

Free participation at this special event is available to Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, and Retired military children ONLY.
