The B.R. Ryall YMCA of Northwestern DuPage County was founded 100 years ago by dedicated individuals who wanted to make our community stronger, and that remains our mission today.
Every day, the Y supports kids, adults, seniors and families with programs that protect, teach, connect, heal, nourish and encourage. Everything we do helps communities and the “us” who live in them thrive. We’re seeing an increasing demand for programs and services. We have more children enrolled in our popular youth programs—like swim lessons and basketball—than ever before. Our preschool is at capacity and we have waiting lists for classrooms. Several of our summer camp weeks were full just two weeks after registration opened. High school students are spending their Fridays and Saturdays at the Y playing basketball. Parking spots are hard to come by on Saturday mornings.
While we love seeing so many individuals and families at our Y—taking advantage of all we have to offer and participating in our many programs, it also poses a challenge when we do not have the capacity to be able to meet the demand. In order to expand our offerings to meet community needs now and for the next 100 years at our Y, we need more space and more resources. We need your help for our Y to do more and serve more. Whether you can give $5 or $500, your gift will make a difference. Please give whatever you can to help us be able to open our doors to even more people and impact more lives. As a nonprofit, it is only with the support of YOU, our members, donors and community partners, that we can help afford opportunities for more neighbors.
