Jewish Medical Ethics: A 21st Century Discussion Within the field of ethics, one of the most challenging frontiers is medical ethics. While contemporary medical knowledge preserves life, modern advances have raised moral and ethical issues related to the sanctity and dignity of life - issues whose scope was unimaginable a generation ago. A new ten-lesson Melton course on Jewish Medical Ethics explores Jewish approaches to a number of challenging dilemmas including human cloning, surrogate motherhood, assisted suicide and genetic manipulation.
Day: Thursdays beginning on February 11, 2021 - April 22, 2021 (no class 4/1)
Time: 9:30 am - 11:00 am via Zoom

Ethics of Jewish Living This course sheds light on how Jewish scholars and thinkers with multiple approaches consider contemporary issues that affect us individually and as a community.
