Alex Millunchick - Kick For Cures Fund Raising
I'm raising money for this event:
Kick for Cures 2010
As most of you know Karate is very important to me. It has taught me many positive things like discipline, honesty and self respect, but the most important thing is to help others. I do this in several ways, I volunteer 3 hours a week in the younger (yes there are younger Karate kids than me) Karate classes, I am called a Sempi (Sensei helper) and also every year I raise money for the kicks for cures.
The money is allocated to 3 funds
1.Charities that provide support and cure research
Make A Wish
Michael J. Fox Foundation
American Brain Tumor Association
American Cancer Society
Susan G Koman for the Cure
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network
2.ISKC's Stricken Families In Need Fund
3.Jennifer Malloy Scholarship Fund
Please help me meet my goal while I kick 1000 times in the hour and thank you for any help that you are able to provide.
About my cause:
Illinois Shotokan Booster Club a 501(C)3 Not-for-profit sponsors the Kick For Cures. Kick For Cures is a fund raising event to support the work of charities that provide support and cure research for various types of Cancer, Parkinson's Disease, ALS, and Alzheimers Disease; ISKC's stricken families in need and the Jennifer Malloy Scholarship Fund.
