Hi, Everyone!
I take karate, and my organization, the Illinois Shotokan Karate Club, is holding a fundraiser called Kicks For Cures this weekend.
In a gym at Harper College, we will do as many kicks and punches as we can for people with diseases and needy families. If you think your life is hard, think again! These people are suffering through pain in a daily basis. For people with diseases like cancer, medicine makes these people cranky, and the pain is so bad some people need to be sent to the hospital! Some of these people are kids! If you can, please donate some money. Donations will be distributed among the Make a Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Autism Speaks, Augie’s Quest, Bear Necessities, American Brain Tumor Foundation, Susan G. Komen, Alzheimer’s Association, Michael J. Fox Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphona Society, Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, ISKC’s stricken families in need, and the Jennifer Malloy Scholarship Fund. Remember, IT’S FOR THEM!
Checks can be made to ISBC Kick for Cures or you can donation online at www.KickforCures.com. Even though the event is this weekend, donations can be made until December 31, 2012.
Thank you, I really appreciate it.
Love,
Amelia
