2014 Sub-5 Ride Donations (open only through October 5th)
The Sub-5 Ride is an annual road-cycling event held each year on the Sunday following Labor Day. Participation raises awareness for Parkinson's Disease and funds for Parkinson’s Disease Research. The primary beneficiary is The Paul Ruby Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit charity located in Geneva, Illinois. All moneys donated qualify as a tax deductible gift to a registered non-for-profit charity.
The event includes two distinct levels of participation:
- A timed regular century ride (100 miles).
- A timed metric century ride (62 miles).
Please note that although fundraising is optional for the Sub-5 Ride each registration is automatically assigned a "My Fundraising Page." Even though the registration form provides the option DO NOT uncheck the box to create an Events.org account.
Visitors wishing to make a donation on behalf of a rider can do so via each individual's "Personal Fundraising Page." To find the page for a specific rider browse through the list to the right of this window. Alternatively click on the link, "show all »" (bottom right) and then search for the rider by name.
